With so many bands taking alternative routes in order to break new musical grounds, it’s common to hear many who sound alike. But Lunic from Albany, New York has discovered a formula that has allowed them to cut new paths and yet still remain contemporary enough to please any modern day alternative passions. They have managed to not be chained down by the ever growing world of pop gold seeking materialist, and found a light that guides them towards their own originality. And the “whole picture” concept seems to define their formula instead of countless solos built upon generic themes. This is the door to finding ones musical self and Lunic has definitely found the key.
Bios are not important here, only the overall impression that Lunic’s formula and talents leaves on someone. But of course a good formula must have fresh ingredients so please allow me to give you the list. Kaitee writes the songs, does great vocals with uncluttered realism, and also plays tasteful violin and keys. And with Kari on violin, keys and vocals, Peter on guitar, Talor on guitar, Jordan on bass, and Elliot on drums, Lunic has just the right package for anyone who seeks very up to date alterative music that displays extreme adventurism. – JJ Rocks
