There have been many small recording studios on this island for quite awhile. So it’s a real pleasure for me to write about a true “state of the arts’ facility that has now found a home on our tiny heaven in paradise. Aqua sounds studios has everything that an artist who is dreaming of the perfect tracks could wish for. And when you add a comfortable atmosphere, warm and friendly engineers and producers, and accommodations for off island visiting recording artist, you wind up with the perfect setting to make all your musical recording dreams come true.

At the helm of this very professional one of a kind local studio is Padraic Coursey whose goal is to bring the highest level of recording bliss to paradise. And with two different rooms to record in, a musicians lounge, a huge apartment for visiting musicians, and 1700 square feet of spotless, air conditioned high tech environment, Padraic has come up with the perfect balance for musicians dreaming of their first hit song.

Being a teacher there is another thing about Padraic that I hold in the highest regard. He is planning to bring in local kids and teach them the fine art of recording and expand their minds about the music industry at no cost. This type of endeavor shows the true heart and spirit of a man whose goal is to give St. Croix something that has never existed on this heavenly paradise. And that is to not only have the best recording studio in the history of our island, but also to add to the growth of our children who just might want to become the next Padraic Coursey. – JJ Rocks
